With the technological development of, increasingly, information and communication tools, the importance of establishing actions that strengthen our network of contacts is reinforced, with professional-labor and business networks being among the most important.
Networking is defined as a philosophy that consists of establishing a network of contacts to publicize and show our experience in a certain field, listen to and learn from others, find potential collaborators, strategic partners and / or investors. Its objective is focused on the possibility of exchanging information and contacts with people who share common interests.
The technology sector is not alien to this type of dynamics, and those who work in this environment are aware of the great development possibilities that the correct management of networking entails.
Thanks to this management, at Ad Maiorem we have taken advantage of opportunities and closed commercial agreements of great importance for the development of our technology services worldwide. We are currently Main Partner of the consortium of supplier companies that attends various technological projects of the European Space Agency (ESA), where we participate in the development of space programs and scientific missions in order to know more about the Earth, the space environment that surrounds it, the Solar System and the Universe, as well as to develop satellite-based technologies and services and promote European industry.
Along the same lines, and in response to our business expansion needs, in 2020 we joined ICEXnext, an internationalization aid program sponsored by ICEX Trade and Investment, a Spanish institution that opens an interesting gateway to foreign markets, access to data of interest on the implantation of companies and an extensive network of contacts and professionals.
In our experience we can cite four key points that have helped us to successfully increase our networking and take advantage of each of these actions:
1. Turn interactions into opportunities. Networking is the agent that transforms all daily interaction into opportunities. We see this activity as transversal to our processes. In this way, we guarantee the satisfactory service of our clients and the search for suitable professionals to fill the positions they demand.
2. We care about quality and not quantity. We want to create value in everything we do. We do not mind being there, our focus is to provide knowledge for the success of each project in which we participate. We guide the team to maximize their skills and experiences.
3. Our process of rediscovery is constant. We maintain an active relationship with our environment to be aware of new market needs and continue to offer spaces for the development of technology.
4. The interest in being "real". In a world dominated by hypercommunication, real conversations will continue to be powerful tools that allow you to connect with others. To be disruptive in the world of technology, we must put aside the imposed "ways to do". In this sense, our way of managing networking is more about long-term connections where we are transversal to innovation.
