We participate in the rehabilitation process corresponding to the section of the railway network that belongs to the so-called "Mediterranean Transeuropean Corridor". This work is in charge of the Slovenian Ministry of Infrastructure and is co-financed through the financial program CEF (Connecting Europe Facility), and ERDF (European Regional Development Fund).
The objective of the project is to increase the safety and capacity of the network, improve the regularity and frequency of trains, as well as reduce maintenance costs.
The design, installation, testing, and commissioning stages of the signaling systems and equipment were carried out for the replacement of relay interlocks with electronic interlocks of this line, which runs from Zidani Most (Slovenia) to Sentilj (Austria), covering a total of 117 kilometers with 17 stations along its route.
Specifically, our participation focuses on the execution of tests of the specific configurations of each station on the line, as well as the new electronic interlocks that replace the relay interlocks that were available until now.
In the future, it is expected that the line will have the ERTMS level 1 signaling system, which, among some of its most important characteristics, is the possibility of simultaneous circulation of a greater number of trains on the track, in addition to making the line independent. INDUSI system line that you currently have.
